Create a document library in SharePoint
Navigate to SharePoint Site Contents. Select + New > Document library. Give it a title and description and click Save.
Select, create and save document type(s): + New > select document type.
Head to your LiveTiles page in Design View.
Best Practice Tip: Open Design View in a separate tab for easy editing, viewing and navigation.
Height: Adjust the height of the tile in pixels.
Header Color: Change the header color of the tile using the color picker.
Hide upload Icon: Hides the upload icon on the end user page
Advanced Styles: Select styling options via dropdown menu: Border Width, Corners.
Title: Set the title of the tile.
Override Page Font: Override the font family that has been selected, if checked.
Font Family Set the font family of the items text. Selectable via a dropdown list. Note: This is only available if Override Page Font has been selected.
Font Size: Changes the size (in pixels) of the text.
Font Color: Changes the color of the text. Colors are modified via a color picker that appears once font color is clicked.
Font Style: Allows the user to choose if the font is underlined or Italic.
Font Weight: Allows the user to choose the weight of the font (Light, Normal, Bold).
List Path: Click the magnifying glass to browse through Site Contentsand set the document library.
Starting View: If a custom view has been created in SharePoint, you can select it from a drop-down box.
Title Link Target: Set where the title links open: Modal Dialog, New Window, In Place, Slide.
Modal Width: Set the width of the Modal Dialog. Only visible when Modal Dialog is selected.
Modal Height: Set the height of the Modal Dialog. Only visible when Modal Dialog is selected.
Modal Style: Set the border style of the Modal Dialog either Frameless, Framed or SharePoint. Only visible when Modal Dialog is selected.
Slide Position: Set where the slide opens from: Left or right. Only visible when Slide is selected.
Slide Width: Set the width of the slide. Only visible when Slide is selected.
List Item Target: Set where each document links open: Modal Dialog, New Window, In Place, Slide.
Note: the Modal style settings for List Item Target are the same as the style settings from the above Title Link Target.
