Settings Tabs

General 

Height: Adjust the height of the tile in pixels.  

Background Color: Change the background color of the tile using the color picker.

Advanced Styles: Select styling options via dropdown menu: Border Width, Corners.

Highlight on Mouse over: Display a different color when the tile is hovered on.

Mouse Over Color: Change the background color when the tile is hovered on. Available when Highlight on Mouse Over is selected.

Padding: Adjust the padding (the gap between the text and the edge of the tile): Left, right, top or bottom, in pixels.

Hide Upload Icon: Hide the upload icon, when selected.  

Text 

Text: Set the title of the tile.

Title Style: Set a style for the document: Solid or Stripe.

Title Background Color: Set the background color of Title.
Note
: This is only available if Stripe is selected under Title Style.  

Override Page Font: Override the font family that has been selected, if checked.  

Font Family  Set the font family of the items text. Selectable via a dropdown list.
Note
: This is only available if Override Page Font has been selected.

Documents

Document Library Path: Click the magnifying glass to browse through Site Contents and set the document library.

Item Count: Set the number of items to be displayed in the tile.

File Display Name: Display file name: FileName, Title  

Display Type: Display the items: Bullet or Icon. Selectable via dropdown list.  

Use File Specific Icon: Select the Bullet display type to use a file-specific icon for each document. Ex. Word doc, excel file, PowerPoint etc.    

List View: If a custom view has been created in SharePoint, you can select it from a drop-down box.
Note
: If you do not see your SharePoint Library, then you may have accidentally created it in a subsite or another site collection. Open a new tab and use SharePoint search to locate your library.

Sort: Select display order: Ascending, descending, view.

 

Links 

Clickable Title: Open the document library by clicking the title.

List Page Type: Open the document library in a LiveTiles Documents List page or generic SharePoint Page.
Note
: This option is only available if Clickable Title has been selected.    

List Page Colors: Set the colors of the LiveTiles List page.
Best Practice Tip: Keep the colors within branding colors for consistency.
Note: This option is only available if Clickable Title has been selected.  

Title Link Target: Set where the title links open: Modal Dialog, New Window, In Place, Slide.

Modal Width: Set the width of the Modal Dialog. Only visible when Modal Dialog is selected.

Modal Height: Set the height of the Modal Dialog. Only visible when Modal Dialog is selected.

Modal Style: Set the border style of the Modal Dialog either Frameless, Framed or SharePoint. Only visible when Modal Dialog is selected.

Slide Position: Set where the slide opens from: Left or right. Only visible when Slide is selected.

Slide Width: Set the width of the slide. Only visible when Slide is selected.  

List Item Target: Set where each document links open: Modal Dialog, New Window, In Place, Slide.

Note: the Modal style settings for List Item Target are the same as the style settings from the above Title Link Target.

Office Documents Behavior: Set how the file opens: Open in Browser, Open in Client App, Download File.

Advanced 

Tile Visibility: Select which groups can/cannot view the tile content.  Group categories selectable via dropdown: Everyone, Only for, For everyone except

When Only for or For everyone except, is selected, groups from the selected category will appear from the dropdown menu.

Lock Tile for Non-owners: Select if the tile can be modified only by an owner.

Custom CSS Classes: Add one or multiple Custom CSS classes to the tile.
